Boarders raise money for CARE at Boarders' Concert

Yesterday afternoon, the boarders gave us a wonderful showcase of their talents to raise funds for CARE, an international charity supporting women and girls around the world. Impressively, 110 tickets were sold (more than last year) and £312 was raised. Stylishly compered by Andrea Nicole A., Louise L. and Oon I., it was fantastic to see the girls displaying their talents, both in their traditional arts and modern dancing. There were several expert performances on the Chinese zither and ravishing displays of beautiful traditional dress. The concert was produced with care including expert backstage support and some considerable flair. It was clear that they were having loads of fun and the camaraderie in our boarding community was evident.
