Bikeability
Over the half term 35 Year 7 to Year 9 girls took part in the Bikeability Level 3 Course offered by Outspoken. Every morning, from Monday to Thursday, a different group took part in the course. After a quick bike check and some riding exercises to check that the girls were safe to ride on the road the group split into three smaller groups to ride around Cambridge with an instructor. The girls had a good time and enjoyed some lovely half term sunshine! All of the girls improved their cycling ability and as a result are now safer on the road. Headmistress, Ms Charlotte Avery, has been keen for the school to offer Senior School students a chance to attend this course in order to support efforts to boost cycling to school and safer cycling in general, as these provide additional opportunities for the girls to be active.
