Athletic achievements at the Olympic Cup championships

On Wednesday 22 June athletes from Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 competed in the local Cambridge inter-schools championships, also known as the Olympic Cup, at Wilberforce Road. The Year 10 athletics team was unable to participate as they were away on a Geography trip, but the Year 9 B squad stepped in to compete on their behalf. Both teams from Year 8 and Year 9 finished second, with the Year 8 team missing out on victory by just one point. The Year 7 and Year 10 team (represented by the Year 9 B squad) successfully finished first out of 10 schools. Congratulations to all the girls for their outstanding athletic achievements.
