In June, five of our Upper Sixth Art students had their artwork judged, and selected, to participate in the annual Sixth Form College Art Exhibition for Upper Sixth students in Cambridge, held at the Central Library. Organised by Granta Decorative & Fine Arts Society, in collaboration with Cam Decorative & Fine Arts Society (both members of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS)), the exhibition features drawings, paintings and other creative work by local Sixth Form students from nine schools.

On Wednesday 6 July our Head of Art, Mrs Gill Clifford, attended the private view of the exhibition at the library alongside students Phoebe C. and Melissa J., and all were delighted to see student Sasha S-R. win the Cambridge Drawing Society Most Original Artwork Award for her cityscape. Phoebe and Melissa, alongside Charlotte S., and Rachel T., all received certificates of commendation – well done to all of the students involved and to our girls for their inspired creativity.
