Antony and Cleopatra

On Thursday and Friday last week our Year 6 girls took on the leading roles in their performance of Antony and Cleopatra. The girls were supported by an Egyptian and Roman choir of Year 5 girls and performed in the gardens of the Junior School – in the afternoon on Thursday, and in the evening on Friday. Despite some wet weather on Thursday the girls showed their dedication and persevered throughout. Friends and family enjoyed the ‘college garden’ atmosphere as the girls put on performances to rival those of the University of Cambridge’s Shakespeare Festival. Friday’s final performance was bathed in evening sunshine, a fitting finale and a great reward for the girls’ hard work.
