Anny is a published mathematician

Year 8 student Anny C. is a keen mathematician and in September submitted a mathematical solution to a problem set by NRICH, a website aimed at students and teachers to enrich the mathematical experience of learners. Although there were too many good solutions to mention everyone who entered, Anny’s solution was published on the website. Anny used factors to find the values of the shapes.

We were impressed to hear that Anny has once again had her work published on the website. This is a remarkable achievement, to have work recognised at such a young age – congratulations to Anny on her successes!
