Annual Junior School Music Festival makes a much welcome return!

What a joy it has been to hold our annual Music Festival once again in the Junior School. Our last Music Festival was in 2019 so we were well overdue and this year's Music Festival was definitely one to remember.

Every morning this week in our Junior School we have had performances from musicians across Year 1 through to Year 6 with over 80 girls signing up to perform. On Friday 25 March, in the morning, our 10 finalists performed again for our special adjudicator Mr Alan Rochford - well known local musician who himself is Director of the Cambridge Music Festival, enjoyed listening to the girls as they played for the whole school and teachers, each delivering terrific performances.

A special well done to our place winners:

Liana C. in Year 6 (1st Place)

Eleanor D. Year 6 (2nd Place)

Mengyao S. Year 5 (3rd Place).

But truly, every girl who performed in the Music Festival this week has done a credit to themselves and their school and should be very proud of their achievements. It has been so wonderful to have Acton Hall full of music once again and we really have been able to celebrate music this week as a school community.
