An outstanding set of results for LAMDA Speech and Drama Exams
Twenty-one Year 11 and 13 students undertook the LAMDA Speech and Drama examinations last term and have achieved outstanding results. 48% of the students received a distinction with the remaining 52% achieving a merit. This is certainly a testimony to the hard work and dedication in preparing for their exams.
The results were for their LAMDA Level 3 Certificate In Performance (either Solo or Duo) for Grade 6 for fourteen students and Grade 8 for seven. The extra UCAS points the students receive for these results are 27 points for Merit and 30 for Distinction, which is an additional benefit to the skills the exams will have help them develop.
Very well done everyone and many thanks to our Speech and Drama teacher Mrs Weber for all her tuition and support for the children.

I am especially proud of the Sixth Form students, they have worked with such commitment towards this exam and it’s wonderful the results reflect this.
