Alumnae reunion

On Friday 17 February we hosted a ‘10 year out’ reunion for girls who left the school in 2006 (as Year 11) and 2008 (as Upper Sixth). 36 alumnae (and one baby) chatted and drank champagne in the Learning Resources Centre, having come from different parts of the country to see old friends. The atmosphere was instantaneous and it was as if the girls had never left the fold. By popular request, Mr Daniel Bennett was in attendance and co-hosted a tour of the school with Mrs Emma Whittley, our Alumnae Officer. The girls enjoyed seeing all of the new developments and only interrupted the flow of the tour to reminisce on their own time at school. We were delighted that the girls themselves  instigated the event which was such a success and well received by the rest of the group – we could barely get them out of the door at the end of the evening!
