Advent services
Back at the end of November the Junior School celebrated the start of the Advent season by holding Advent services for all pupils, led by Junior School Religious Education Co-ordinator, Miss Agata Wygnanska.
On Monday 28 November, the Prep girls explored the theme of 'Christ our Light' in a meditative service, which was held for the first time in the Senior School Chapel. The Year 6 pupils helped Miss Wygnanska to lead the service of readings and reflections, which linked the use of light in the Advent wreath with the coming of Jesus as ‘the light of the world’.
On Wednesday 30 Nocember it was the turn of our Pre-prep pupils’ Advent service. The service (pictured) focused on the five candles of the Advent wreath and their meanings in our journey to Christmas. Now, with just a couple of days left of Advent, we wish all of our Junior School pupils and their family and friends a peaceful and joyful Christmas.
