A Level students enjoy insight into the art of wildlife photography
On Wednesday 10 February, following on from their workshop with Lauren Hellier, students had another treat as the Visual Arts Department was also able to offer A Level Art and Photography students a 45 minute Zoom seminar with Wildlife Photographer Tom Streeter. This was an exciting opportunity to speak to an experienced photographer and understand in more detail the complex world of Wildlife Photography.
Masha I. said of the workshop:
‘It was really interesting and inspiring to hear about the different techniques needed and what lenses and equipment is best to use’
The seminar included practical hints and tips for producing wildlife photography that has a natural feel and is sensitive to the subject and it’s environment. It was attended by both Year 12 and 13, during they spoke to Tom about the equipment used on his photographic shoots, his website and career.
