Year 9 showcases independent projects in Physics and Engineering Fair

Year 9 students have been working on Physics and Engineering projects in small groups. On 10 May, we held a fair at the Sixth Form, giving students a chance to showcase their projects to parents, staff and students.

This was an opportunity for them to work in small teams on an independent project which they could develop in their own direction. Students prepared posters to present the results of their investigations and presented these alongside some of their practical work.

We loved learning about their dynamic and well-researched projects, from a ‘Wallace and Gromit Machine’ and an eco house, to designing an ‘egg-thrower’. You can see a range of their projects below.
