St Mary's School and World Challenge launch expedition to Southern Tanzania for 2023

From next week, students will be able to sign up to the 2023 World Challenge Expedition to Southern Tanzania. This two-week adventure will open up a whole world of new experiences, from exploring the vibrant city of Dar es Salaam, to rainforest trekking and rural conservation initiatives.

Students will enjoy white sand beaches and tropical surroundings, immersed in a different culture, as well as world-conscious initiatives. This trip not only aims to build students’ confidence and resilience but to grow their understanding of their role within our global community. Students will be challenged to think critically about topical issues that affect our past, present and future.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience and contribute to communities across the globe, made all the more meaningful after the recent hiatus on international travel. Holly from World Challenge will be holding an online information session for students and parents next week on Monday 29th of November at 6pm.
