New Twilight Boarding service launched for day pupils in Years 5 to 13
St Mary's is delighted to launch a new Twilight Boarding service for day pupils in Years 5 to 13.
The new Twilight Boarding service has been introduced to allow students to extend their day at St Mary's up to 8.30pm on weekday (Mon-Fri) evenings.
This new service meets a growing demand from busy parents for high quality after-school care and offers all the benefits of our experienced team of boarding staff and the brilliant facilities at Mary Ward House.
Twilight Boarding sessions are completely flexible and can be accessed on either a regular or ad-hoc basis, depending on each student's needs.
How it works
Twilight Boarding for Years 5 and 6
- Junior School pupils are collected by boarding staff at 3:40pm or 5pm (depending on any afterschool clubs)
- An after school snack is provided
- 4.45pm -5.45pm supervised prep
- 6.00 - 7.00pm supper available
- Students collected from Mary Ward House by 8:30pm
Twilight Boarding for Years 7 to 13
- Students buddy-up with a boarder and go to Mary Ward House at 4.00pm (unless they have an after-school activity)
- An after school snack is provided
- 4.45pm-5.30pm supervised prep for Year 7 to 9
- 6.00 - 7.00pm supper available
- Students collected from Mary Ward House by 8:30pm
