Junior School pupil announced as overall winner in 'Design a Robot' competition
The results of a ‘Design A Robot’ competition run by the Clay Farm Community Centre in Trumpington over the summer have just been released and we are delighted to report that Junior School pupil Pragati S. in Year 6 has been announced as the Overall Winner in the 8-13 Age Group.
Pragati designed a SpaceBot which was meant to collect samples from around the universe. Pragati chose to make a SpaceBot because she really loves anything to do with outer space.
Pragati's robot was created using metal, screws, foil, wheel
s, cardboard, coloured paper and her drawing skills. Pragati was awarded her medal, certificate and prize by the Mayor of Cambridge, Mark Ashton, on Tuesday 20 September.
