Sixth Form student Daisy D. wins East Anglia District Young Rotary Club Competition

Daisy D. in Year 12 has won the regional 'East Anglia District Young Rotary Club Competition' having also won round 1 of the 'Cambridge District Young Rotary Club Competition'.  She will be presented with an award and prize on Saturday 23rd April and her work will now progress to the final national stage.

Daisy D.’s beautiful image is called ‘Evening Colours of August’. She took this photograph with a Canon EOS 500D with 18-55 zoom lens at sunset in Hunstanton, Norfolk. The image is of a vibrant sunset over a low Norfolk tide, the hues of the sky reflected in the winding water leading up to the horizon line that holds the setting sun. This photo perfectly encapsulates the Rotary Competition’s theme, 'Colours of Nature'.
