St Mary’s students crowned East Region U17 County Hockey Champions

On 13 March Sophie H. in Year 12, and Lucia C. and Emma A. in Year 11 successfully competed in the County Hockey Finals for the East Region to be crowned East Region U17 County Champions!

As part of the Cambridgeshire U17 team, they took on five counties: Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. While they tied with Essex and Bedfordshire, they won against Norfolk, Suffolk and Hertfordshire, putting their team in the lead.

The team won with an impressive 9 goals in total. Congratulations to all the girls and especially to Lucia who scored an amazing 6 goals!
