St Mary’s School, Cambridge ranked in the world’s top 100 schools.
St Mary’s School, Cambridge features in the top 100 schools in the world, in a report published this week by HSBC China in association with Hurun Education.
In the first international listing of its kind, Hurun Education, with huge brand recognition in China, Hong Kong and India, has scoured the globe for the best high schools and ranked them to give parents an insight into global education opportunities available in successful independent schools.
Charlotte Avery, Headmistress, said:
“With the global rankings being based on leaver’s university destinations, extra-curricular activities and reputation, we are proud to be recognised within the top 100 schools globally for developing engaging and compassionate young women with the aspirations, confidence and integrity to help shape a better world.”
According to Huran Education, it takes years to build a world quality school, with their listed schools ensuring an enriched curriculum which not only supports their pupils’ academic successes but also their social skills, leadership and exposure to new interests and new experiences, thus setting them up for careers and life beyond school.
St Mary’s, embedded within the academic and cultural life in Cambridge, is proud to be maintaining the standards set by our founder, Mary Ward, who in 1612 stated boldly that “By God’s grace, women, in time, will come to do much.”
