Around the world in 80 ways...
Back in February, St Mary's boarders began a challenge to run, walk, cycle, swim, dance or horse ride their way around the world, on a route covering 24,250 miles and incorporating every home country of our current international student community.
Since then, our valiant participants have ‘travelled’ 11,065.5 miles and are almost halfway through the challenge. They have passed Peru and The Gambia and are now about 500 miles away from reaching Ghana.
Many girls and staff took advantage of half term to do some extra walking, cycling – even hula hooping! Heather C. and Bev Y. are currently the ones to beat, but there are many more miles to collectively 'travel'. Keep up the good work!
