Year 6 student wins Anti-racism Journalist of the Year award
Charis C. in Year 6, has won the Anti-racism journalist of the year award in the Global Young Journalist Awards, hosted by The Day. Writing in the 'age ten and under' category, she was awarded a certificate and trophy in recognition of her superbly written article.
Her talent and growing reputation as an up-and-coming writer clearly precede her - she has already been awarded the creative writing scholarship for the Senior School when she starts in September.
