Year 5 learn what to do in an emergency

This week Year 5 have been learning all about what to do in an emergency. They have learnt the acronyms DRsABC (Danger, Response, Shout, Airway, Breathing, Circulation) and LIONEL (Location / Incident / Other services / Number / Extent / Location) as well as how to call the emergency services and what to say. They have also learnt how to put someone into the recovery position and practised this on each other.
