Year 4 STEM day creates light bulb moments

Year 4 STEM day creates light bulb moments

Year 4 had a thoroughly enlightening STEM skills day last week.

The girl's skill focus was assembling electrical circuits. The challenge was to design and build a working light. Some of the girls chose to build lighthouses but others created torches, table lamps and even a disco ball.

Using simple materials such as plastic bottles and cups, tinfoil, tape and card, the girls are mastering the technology behind basic circuitry and switches.
