Year 4 learn about Buddhism

Year 4 have been learning about Buddhism during World Religions Week. The girls have enjoyed learning about the major beliefs, festivals, symbols and worship practices of Buddhists. As usual, Year 4 pupils have shown curiosity and enthusiasm, asking insightful questions and drawing comparisons between Buddhism and other religions that they have learned about in the past. To capture what they have learned, the girls are producing their own booklets about Buddhism. This is an ideal opportunity for them to practise their HPL skills, particularly synthesizing and creativity!
