Year 3 study the climate of rainforests across the world

This week, Year 3 has been busy working on multiple mini projects. 

For Humanities, the girls have been studying the climate of rainforests across the world, creating their own weather report which we recorded on Friday. In Art, Year 3 has continued weaving their own small mats using their class-made looms.  In Science, we have been studying light, and this week focused on reflective surfaces. 

Specifically, the girls learned the importance of reflective materials and they used this information to create their own running backpacks designed with safety in mind, making runners visible at night time.
