Year 3 finish their weaving projects

This week, Year 3 has been enjoying the many mini events taking place while continuing their studies. 

The girls had a chance to hear a talk from Cressida Cowell, the author of "How to Train your Dragon" book series. Cressida inspired the girls to develop their chapter stories further by using different strategies, such as creating a map of the world their stories take place.  For Maths, we spent one lesson practising our Maths skills by playing an Escape Room game. The girls really enjoyed looking for the different clues and stretching their minds by attempting to solve each one. 

On Wednesday afternoon, Year 3 finished their weaving projects, and the results were quite impressive.  During their Art lesson, the girls also watched an episode of Our Planet focused on life in the rainforest. 

Needless to say, it has been an enjoyable week.
