Year 1 have been learning about the Owl and the Pussycat

Year 1 have been remembering the poem (some of the girls know it all by heart) and using our imagination to create new adventures for the Owl and the Pussycat. We've also learned about maps and have used that knowledge to create our own maps of the 'Bong Tree' Island from the poem. In Maths we have been completing our work on measuring length and height by measuring objects around us and comparing them and in RE we found out about how Jesus asked his new disciples to become 'fishers of men'.
