Year 1 have been busy showing kindness and learning all about penguins!

Year 1 have been thinking how showing kindness and love for one another can change how we feel for the person who is being kind and the receiver of the kindness!  

We've continued diving into numbers to 50 by exploring the language involved in comparing numbers.  We've also been exploring the 'ir' and 'ur' digraphs in our spelling pattern this week.

We've really enjoyed thinking about the lives of Emperor Penguins in Antartica and have imagined a day in the life of these wonderful aquatic birds!
