Welcome Tea warms hands and hearts

The annual Welcome Tea this year was a heartwarming event, with friends, family, alumnae, staff and students coming together to share news and stories over afternoon tea.

Our St Mary's community enjoyed a spread of sandwiches and cakes with tea, coffee and squash in the cheerful hubbub of the hall, while the grey January weather continued unnoticed outside. 

Normally a September event to celebrate the start of another full and exciting academic year, this year's Tea was postponed, in respect for the sad news about Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Huge thanks to all who helped put on the event, and to all that came to make the afternoon such a lively and special occasion.
