Musical activity at the Junior School

Our junior musicians have been very busy in recent months. Musicians in Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 took part in a teatime concert earlier in the term, where it was a delight to see new players getting up to perform in front of an audience with elegance and enthusiasm.

Also, in December our Year 5 and Year 6 chamber choir took part in a vocal workshop with guest lecturer, Richard Pinel, Musical Director of Jesus College, Cambridge. The girls enjoyed working on vocal technique, refining their note-reading skills and singing in harmony, all of which helped them to perfect their repertoire for their performances before Christmas and into 2018.
