Junior School students' aspirational visit to the Studio 47 Summer Art Exhibition

We were delighted to welcome the Year 5 St Mary’s junior school students to our Studio 47 Art Centre this week, for a sneak preview of the GCSE and A Level students' Summer Exhibition.

The Junior school pupils had the privilege of the entire arts centre to themselves to discover and critically engage with the artwork. After a tour of the exhibition, the Year 5s had the joy of expressing their creative side and reacting to the work. They also took part in a continuous line workshop lead by the Senior School art teachers, exploring how line can develop an image and experimenting with different media.

The Studio 47 Summer Exhibition is open to visitors by invitation on Thursday 15th June 5.30-7.30pm.
