Junior netballers

We kicked off the Junior School netball season with two great games against Fairstead House School in Newmarket on Wednesday.

The U11 team played a convincing match beating the opposition by 14 goals to two. The girls played well and everyone from the squad benefitted from gaining match experience. Initially nerves were running high but the girls soon settled into the game and the goals kept coming... Well done to all who played.

The U9 team had their first ever competitive game and the excitement from the court side was electric. The girls all played very well and gained a considerable amount from the match play. By the end the ball was beginning to flow more accurately and the girls put up a good fight, although the final score was two nil to Fairstead. This was a first experience for all the girls and one which we will build on. Well done and thank you to the many supporters who attended – it was a great turn out.
