French theatre

Congratulations to the girls who performed in the French theatre club’s play last week, La Secret de la Licorne. The high standard of spoken French was extremely impressive as was the confidence in the girls’ performances. Mr O’Reilly even had to ask Cecilia, Year 4 pupil, to explain the story line in English as he couldn’t quite keep up! Thank you to Madame Lea and her husband John for their beautifully written script and imaginatively crafted songs, and Mrs Rudge for supplying the exquisite scenery. Modern languages at the Junior School are vibrant and stimulating, and we look forward to another stellar performance next year. Bravo!
