Diocesan Schools’ Mass

On Thursday 29 September eight pupils from Year 5 and Year 6, with a number of the Senior School Mary Ward scholars, represented the school at the Diocesan Schools’ Mass at St John the Baptist Cathedral in Norwich – an annual celebration which, this year, focused on The Year of Mercy.

Bishop Alan Hopes presided at the Mass and candles were distributed to each school to celebrate the Year of Mercy; we look forward to lighting ours during assemblies over the coming year. The group gathered with students from other schools for a picnic lunch in the Cathedral grounds – in some unexpected and very welcome afternoon sunshine – before heading back to school.
