Wellbeing room's resident teddy bear is named Klaus

Moving into the new Senior School Wellbeing Room in October, the wellbeing teddy bear has been at the forefront of activities and drop-in sessions taking place to provide students with mental health support.

Ted has now officially been named "Klaus" by Molly C in Year 9, and we can't think of a more fitting name. Of course Klaus is a derivation of Nikolaus or, as we know him, Santa Claus.

Klaus is also a boy's name of German origins, meaning "Victory of the people" and we hope he lives up to this in his role of mentor, providing mindfulness and emotional support within the relaxing atmosphere of our Wellbeing Room.
