St Mary's Juniors become Cultivators for Change
Our Monday morning at the Junior School was a fabulous start to the week, with a blast of fun and fresh air in the company of Cultivating Change, the charity which uses gardening and growing as a route to supporting wellbeing.
St Mary's Junior School was proud to become the latest member of the growing community of 'Cultivators for Change', who engage in gardening activities to promote life-long healthy and mindful habits. Under the guidance of the Cultivating Change workshop, the girls enjoyed the hands-on experience of bringing pots, compost and seeds together to kickstart what will hopefully be a successful germination of plants as well as happy minds.
Over the coming weeks, we will be keeping a close eye on the progress of our seeds and looking forward to seeing the edible results of our efforts!
