This month, Y7-13 Art scholars embarked on an inspiring journey into the world of illustration in a workshop led by the talented illustrator, Tilly Pettitt. A graduate of Anglia Ruskin University's Cambridge School of Arts, Tilly shared her insights and expertise with the group of enthusiastic students. 

 

The workshop began with students delving into a series of thought-provoking poems, using them as a springboard to develop their own artistic responses. Through this creative exercise, they gained a deeper understanding of the intricate connection between words and visuals, a hallmark of the illustrator's craft. 

 

As the day unfolded, the students received a comprehensive insight into the world of illustration.
